ShopKHC is an online store specialising in hand-stitched vintage Kantha textiles and handmade home décor. We offer quilts, cushions, curtains, table runners, kitchen accessories and apparel — all made from upcycled sari materials by skilled artisans in India. Founded in 2019 by Manish Sankhala, our mission is to preserve traditional Indian craftsmanship while bringing it into homes across the UK and beyond.

Yes — 100%. Every item in our collection is made entirely by hand by artisans who have inherited Kantha quilting techniques from their families. Because of this, no two pieces are ever exactly alike. Small variations in colour, pattern and stitch are a natural feature of handwork, not a defect.

Over 80% of our materials are sustainable or recycled. Kantha is an inherently zero-waste craft — vintage cotton saris and fabric scraps are layered and stitched together to create entirely new pieces. We work with 100% cotton wherever possible. Product pages always list the specific materials used for each item.

Ordering is simple:

• Browse our collections and find something you love
• Check the product description, dimensions and care instructions
• Select your size or variant and add it to your cart
• Proceed to checkout and enter your shipping address and payment details
• You'll receive an order confirmation by email straight away

We process orders quickly, so please contact us as soon as possible at shopkhcuk@gmail.com if you need to make a change. We'll do our best to help, but we can't guarantee changes once an order has been dispatched.

Prices may change without notice. Because many pieces are handmade in limited quantities, items can sell out. We try to keep stock levels accurate, but if something becomes unavailable after your order, we'll contact you right away. Colours and patterns may vary slightly from product images due to the handmade nature of the goods and screen differences.

Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–3 business days of confirmation. Delivery times then depend on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout. Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number by email so you can follow its progress.

Yes! We offer free UK delivery on all orders over £30. For orders below this threshold, a standard shipping charge applies which is calculated at checkout.

Yes, we ship internationally. Please note that for orders outside the UK, customs duties or import taxes may apply. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in our prices. For EU shipments, you also have a 14-day cooling off right.

You have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return. To be eligible:

• The item must be unused and in its original condition
• Original tags must still be attached
• It must be in its original packaging

Please note that some items may not be returnable, including custom products, sale items and gift cards.

Contact us at shopkhcuk@gmail.com to initiate a return. Once accepted, we'll send you instructions and a return shipping label. Please don't send items back without contacting us first.

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you of the outcome. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. If it's been more than 10 days since we approved your return, please get in touch.

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If anything is damaged, defective or incorrect, contact us immediately at shopkhcuk@gmail.com with a photo and your order number. We'll assess the situation and arrange a resolution — whether that's a replacement, refund or exchange.

Our store is hosted on Shopify, one of the most trusted e-commerce platforms in the world. All sensitive information such as credit card details is encrypted and handled securely. Your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. We never sell your data to third parties.
